As an LGBT+ ally since 1991, this work honors Pride month, a poet before his time, and those in my life touched by HIV. It is minted on the 5th Anniversary of the Pulse Orlando nightclub tragedy, of which I was a first responder.
This inaugural NFT hologram is derived from the artist's original painting on a vintage vinyl record, animated, reversed, and then digitally reworked in a holographic video format to lift the NFT off of the viewer's screen and enter the viewer's physical space when paired with a holographic prism pyramid.
"525,600" is signed, dated, and numbered by the artist at the end of each presentation. Provenance is embedded on the Ethereum Blockchain and is accompanied with certification through Verisart.
This work was included in the exhibition "XO Crypto", a gallery exhibition held at The Blockchain Center of NYC during pride weekend in June 2021, and in the CryptoVoxels Metaverse at Zardoz Gallery.
